We were recently asked to provide a sample of the Eco Pool Drain “Fountain” by Dr. Marian Glenn Ph.D – President of the Rahway River Water Shed Association. The watershed consists of 28 towns. Professor Glenn is a founding member of the Environmental Program at Seton Hall University. Dr Glenn is also on the ANJEC (Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions) Advisory Board.

Pictured above is Clea Carchia – Program Director for the Rahway River Water Shed Association at theANJEC conference held at Mercer County Community college.
Clea reported that many attendees asked about the Eco Pool Drain “Fountain” and took flyers.
Clea is and has been a commissioner on the Rahway Environmental Commission for 5 years. She has been a trustee on the board of the Loantaka Group of the Sierra Club for 2 years, where she is also Political Chair. In addition, Clea has recently been appointed Water Quality/Habitat Issues Coordinator for the NJ Chapter of the Sierra Club.
Will the eco drain fountain kill my grass or shrubs when I backwash my in ground sand filter because I have no where to place the water right now I’m using long hoses and 20ft of 11/2 in pvc pipe to avoid my neighbors property and this would solve my problem if it works? Does it work!! Thank you.
Discharging properly balanced pool water in moderate amounts will not harm your lawn.
